
Students in Ms. Henry's 6th Grade US History classroom completed an escape room as a beginning of the year activity. Students used their knowledge of the continents, longitude and latitude, and the roles of the branches of government to solve the different puzzles.

Tuesday 8/13: 7th & 8th Grades.
Wednesday 8/14: All Grades.
Students must have a sports physical completed prior to attending tryouts.

Our amazing educators engaged in interactive sessions over three days to boost their teaching strategies. 8th Grade students participated in WV Heritage Day stations, which included weaving, butter making, square dancing and making pepperoni rolls as well as presentations on Colonial Life and Folk Music.











8th Grade Parents/Guardians: Due to the potential for thunderstorms tomorrow morning we we will be moving the 8th Grade recognition ceremony to the scheduled rain date which is 9:00 am Friday (5/24). We apologize for any inconvenience and we're not happy with Mother Nature.

8th Grade students visited Storer College in Harpers Ferry in early May. Storer College was a historically Black college in Harpers Ferry that operated from 1867 to 1955.
