Community Farewell to Shepherdstown Elementary School on South Church Street. The doors will be open for the community to walk through the halls of the former Shepherdstown Elementary School at 662 South Church Street for the final time on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10am-12pm. Community members, SES families, and SES alumni are welcome to take pictures in front of memorable murals and/or other areas of the school.

For the safety and flow of traffic at arrival and dismissal, when arriving for car rider drop off and dismissal please USE THE GARDNERS LANE ENTRANCE to Shepherdstown Elementary.
Coming from Shepherdstown continue on Shepherdstown Pike to Gardners Lane, turn right onto Gardners Lane then right onto Shepherdstown Campus Boulevard.

At anytime you are arriving at Shepherdstown Elementary School please use the Gardners Lane entrance as much as possible, however, when exiting you may use Gardners Lane or Shepherdstown Pike.

5th Grade Band Winter Concert tonight Dec 16. 5th grade band student should arrive at 5:30. Performance will be at 6pm.

-Thursday/Friday Dec 18-19, 2025 are Asynchronous Days (there will be no in-person school for Shepherdstown Elementary students). This will allow for important preparations at the new school to be completed prior to students returning from winter break.

-Jan 6th - Students return from winter break to the New Shepherdstown Elementary School.

Car rider tags have been sent home for those that have filled out and returned the car rider tag form. For those that have indicated your student will not be a bus rider, in the event that changes, the parent/guardian is required to contact transportation prior to your student riding a bus.
